Carrington Steele sounds an awful lot like Foghorn Leghorn.
This almost seems like a joke. A horrifically unfunny joke.
“I mean, I haven’t read it either…”
What?
Ad hominem attacks and no logic whatsoever do not a good argument make.
I have ordered a copy Ms. Steele’s book for you Micki, but it is a “special order” and may take a bit for it to be delivered:

…I got a copy for myself too, and will put such an important piece of literature to good use.
It’s really quite simple.
I’ve read some of Oprah’s recommended books. “Eat, Pray, Love”, and Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth”, seem to have the same message…namely, that a person can do well in life by following their brand of non-Christian spirituality. Eckhart quotes Jesus several times in his book, but I’ve noticed it’s usually taken out of context in the bible, and with only half of the quote cited. Eckhart redefines Christianity thru his own interpretations of partial-biblical scriptures.
By endorsing these books, and thru television discussions, Oprah has been telling people that Jesus Christ’s death on the cross isn’t the most important event in history for our well-being. Her message is in direct opposition to the main message of the bible…namely, that the Son of God, ” Jesus”, came to Earth and died for us so that we can live. Christianity teaches that without Jesus’ death, we can not have life.
Thus…Oprah’s message is against Christianity and is seen as “anti-Christ”. She could have kept her views to herself, but she’s spreading these teachings much like an evangelist, which I suppose is why it’s seen as “The Church of Oprah”.
Too bad…I liked watching her shows, and she seems like such a decent person. But…I guess it wouldn’t be the first time anti-Christian teachings came disguised in a pretty package.
What? It isn’t a joke??!?!
It is so far out that I almost was completely sure that it was a joke. That says a lot.
There is an agenda at hand that I wish people could see. Oprah is being “exposed” because of her support of Obama. It seems like the media is doing everything they can to scare people (mainly ignorant people) into not voting for Obama. Oprah was everyone’s girl, now she is apart of the anti-christ! How completely stupid. The sad part is that most Americans are not that smart and will fall right into the media’s trap. I just advise people to open their damn minds and see what is going on here. It is not important that we come together as a country, save our soldiers, create jobs, generate a future, etc. It is only important that it is not a black man that does it. I dare anyone to challenge this agenda pushing. it is so obvious. Just like why is the picture of Oprah with Obama, there are a billion pictures of Oprah but why the one with Obama? Please fellow Americans lets think with our minds open. I do have a thought, if I had a party at 6pm and everyone I invited came, would I spend the whole damn night asking how everyone got there? You in a care, you took a bus, etc. No. It only matters that we are all here together.
It is fear mongering at its absolute best!!! Didnt the Inquisition teach us anything? Absolute beliefs are just that: beliefs. And when you persecute someone for not believing the way you do, not only are you a part of the problem, but it is by definition the most un-Christian like behavior. Plus, this Christian fear that there might be another way to God other than their own……hear this; ITS THIS TYPE OF THINKING THAT KEEPS PEOPLE FROM THE CHURCH!!!!! People are not going to church anymore because the jig is up!!!! Quit preaching your righteousness and simply practice it! Religion does not bring one closer to God. Spirtuality does!
BTW, the bible also stated as fact that the world was flat. PLEASE, please quit quoting it…..anyone can cherry pick what they need to prove their point. All it shows is an ability to read and an inability to think for yourself.
wow! to sit there UPSIDE DOWN and spew “these don’t look like my church going folks.” nice! you missed the entire premise of being Christian. your thinking is what keeps us from moving forward. in fact, Eckhart Tolle’s book renewed my faith in christianity and it’s because of your thinking that scares people away from the church. good job!
awesome video.. I was wondering how you did that whole puppet thing, but then I saw your face was upside down.
