I caught me a goth boy
OK this is a little dated (heh, dated) because I met Mikey almost two weeks ago. I’ve been busy.
Remember that awesome night I had a couple Saturdays ago? Well one of the most fun parts was Mikey. He’s a friend of Zoe’s from high school. He met us at the Rock Paper Scissors Rumble with another friend of his. Daniel and I had already been to one party so we were pretty warmed up. The five of us danced our asses off to hip hop and fended off creepy dudes. I liked Mikey right away – partly because he’s like 6 foot 4 and partly because he was totally friendly and not shy at all. I like boys who aren’t intimidated to let loose around new people. Plus he’s pretty. And I liked his accessories.
Anyway, after the Rock Paper Scissors Rumble, we all headed to Daniel’s house and climbed in the hot tub. Daniel’s roomate Crystal joined us for that part of the evening. Still, no making out occured. Well, some did but not between Mikey and me. At least not yet. After an hour or so in the hot tub (security guard kicked us out for noise), our group disbanded. Crystal, Daniel and Zoe went to bed. I joined Mikey and his friend to a pajama party. And this is where the making out occurred began. Anyway, I’d have to say it was a successful evening on all counts.
Oh, and here is where Mikey scores his real points. I emailed him to ask him if he was OK with the whole open source dating thing (As I write this I’m not so sure I am. I keep thinking of really funny things to say and then holding back – this is a work in progress to be sure.):
MK:
Hey Mikey. It’s Micki! And that is rididulous.
Anyway…
I’ve got a question for you. I’m starting this new project on my blog – open source dating. I may have mentioned this to you. Anyway, I’m not sure if you’re familiar with “open source” but basically, I’m going to blog about all my dating (and psudo-dating) activities and ask people to comment. I’m sort of inviting the readers (not that I have that many right now bc I just launched a new blog) to vote up or down on boys. I know it sounds awful but it’s going to be really fucking hilarious. But in the spirit of open source, I wanted to ask you if you felt comfortable being involved in this. I mean, it’s not like I’m going to include your social security number or anything.
how’s your project going? (Did I mention Mikey is an architecture student? On top of being fun and cute, he’s also smart and interesting. I mean, I’m sure we had some good conversations. Oh and he’s 25.)
MZ:
hmmmm. i guess so. sounds like fun. but you must understand i don’t believe in dating one bit so that may throw things off a bit. what would i need to do?
Now it’s your turn. What do you think? Should I call Mikey again? Would you say, go to a movie with a guy like Mikey or should I save him for another party night? Please, be open. Participate!
Please also tell me if you have any thoughts on the Open Source Dating Project in general. Ideas? Suggestions? Warnings?

Open souce dating…. hmmmm. Can that include multiple people?
please use consumating for your voting engine.
CAN it include multiple people? It HAS to! Ben, how do i do that?
Comsumating being the ultimate method of consuming and all, I think it could be measured through appetite fufillment. Yes, that’s it! You could rate them on how full you feel! Mmmm… yummy.
