A girl from Philly and a girl from the west coast were seated side by side on an airplane. The girl from Philly, being friendly and all said, “So, where ya from?”
The west coast girl said, “From a place where they know better than to use a preposition at the end of a sentence.”
The girl from Philly sat quietly for a few moments and then replied, “So, where ya from…. bitch?”

That reminds me of an old baseball story, which I’ve heard attributed to so many people I don’t know which one is true. Here’s one version:
“Once when the Yankee’s Lou Pinella was batting he questioned a Steve Palermo strike call. Pinella demanded, “Where was that pitch at?”
Palermo told him that a man wearing Yankee pinstripes in front of 30,000 people should not end a sentence with a preposition.
So Pinella, no dummy, said, “OK, where was that pitch at, asshole?”

Philly! FTW!
Actually, the Philly girl would have said, “So, where youse from”? if from the North East, and “So where yall from” if from West Philly.
A girl from Philly probably would need a few moments to come up with something like that.
it’s great
you are great
I heard that your videos were posted on youtube by someone who is not you, did you plan this? just curious.
Nope, didn’t plan for it but it’s totally in accordance with the creative commons license I use. The person who put them up on youtube was not trying to take credit for them, just to share them. And they got quite a lot of views and comments so people really seem to have responded to them so that’s cool. In fact, I really need to post a video response. I”ve just been super busy. here’s the link to the profile: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=pironiro
I wonder just how old that joke is…
I heard it a very long time ago, with the punchline “Where’s the library at, asshole?”

I am new to this whole thing, a friend told me about you, and I have to admit you are something special. I wish we had more women in this world like you, we need it. I think your show is great.
