Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love is in the air. I thought it was about time to give a little thanks to my biggest fan. *waves* to Herndon, VA. Now quit stalking me, you creep.

Yes, you did post it here. This is seriously hilarious. The best way to deal with someone like that. Seems like he needs to get a life. And I would have to agree with you, he must be your biggest fan. He hates you so much he loves you. Bravo Micki.

Casey February 4, 2007 at 12:23 pm

WOW… well done, Micki… words cannot describe how frakking clever that was…

Lan Bui February 4, 2007 at 12:35 pm

Yeah, stick it to em’!!!

I’m glad you have a sense of humor, you are awesome!!!

drew olanoff February 4, 2007 at 12:51 pm

I ROFL’d. For realz.

Eddie C February 4, 2007 at 1:20 pm

Excellent. And you’re so right, Herndon Virginia is devoid of anything interesting. I’ve spent enough time there to know. Just like Reston, the “planned” community.

Zadi February 4, 2007 at 1:27 pm

Micki, that was great. I’m thinking s/he’ll get the point now. If not now, then this will surely cause them concern: http://openid.net/

It’s all about accountability. And that “person” should be held accountable for his/her actions.

Man. I wish we’d had simple-to-create web video when MY stalker was making an ass of himself all over the Internet over me some years back.

Rock on, m’dear. That’s the way you do it. :)

See you Monday!

Steve Woolf February 4, 2007 at 1:47 pm

Update: Herndon, VA officials have tracked Micki’s stalker down! Turns out it’s a 12-year-old conjoined brother and sister who’s mother and father are also brother and sister. Who knew?

Cheri February 4, 2007 at 2:42 pm

I could tell from reading through your recent blogs that someone was stalking you, but I didn’t realize it was that bad. I find your blogs very inspirational, intuitive, intellectual and heartwarming. And you look nothing like a pig! Aargh, I can’t believe people can be so uncaring and mean…he must be schizophrenic ;) Please don’t let this one bad seed discourage you.

jenks February 4, 2007 at 3:16 pm

this is great!

Melissa February 4, 2007 at 3:46 pm

This + Ryanne’s hollaback the other day make me proud of how we can call people out & still feel powerful (and safe) doing it. Right the eff on!

the daniel February 4, 2007 at 5:23 pm

it is very unlikely your stalker is from herndon, va. that’s where roadrunner’s corp HQ is, so they show up in the ‘org’ field when you search whois. (rr = time warner now btw) – my DSL provider is a small company based in winnetka, so when i use an IP geolocator tool or use the commandline whois tool, it thinks i’m somewhere north of santa clarita.

The video is a crackup, though.

amanda February 4, 2007 at 9:53 pm

well done, micki :) that was a great i dea! (what a dumbass… s/he must feel like)

mike February 4, 2007 at 9:54 pm

That. Was. Awesome.

Ya’ know… after hearing some of things this person has said… they’re not a very creative stalker. I mean come on: “fat”, “narrcistsstst” :) or however they spelled it, that’s all they can come up with? That’s… lame.

Following up (sortof) on the comment the daniel made above, it appears that your stalker is actually somewhere in Southern California. The IP is registered to RR.com (which is based on VA), however that IP is routed to their operations in Southern California. (I had a hard time figuring out if you were saying 75.80.50.195 or 75.80.51.95 – but both are routed to the same area)

Unfortunately it looks like your stalker is a bit closer to home.

eric February 5, 2007 at 9:47 am

Well done Micki!

mickikrimmel February 5, 2007 at 9:57 am

thanks for all the support, guys. i had fun making this.

@ the daniel, interesting… ah well, i’ve certainly spent enough time trying to figure out who this person might be or why he/she/they hates me so much. i have some indication that he might be in NY but I thought herndon was funnier.

mickikrimmel February 5, 2007 at 10:01 am

ooh adam, i posted my comment above before yours came in for approval. now THAT’s interesting. maybe we’ll sort out this mystery after all!

will February 5, 2007 at 3:56 pm

The Slackmistres and I have had a similar person lately but not with the dedication of yours. Well done.

Leylabot February 6, 2007 at 12:58 am

what kind of fucking paccifffistisist you are! Creatively retalliating in witty video form :)

Any real tangible leads on this person, I mean guy yet? Seriously.

Cuoredifango February 6, 2007 at 1:11 am

Micki, you are so cute, and I love your videos. I want to be your biggest fan instead of that jerk-off! Thanks for the stalker-fighting tips, and thanks for what you do for the world–just watching your vlogs on atheism has made my day better. I’d like to invite you to my blog (about a loss of faith), but it’s by invite only and you’re probably busy, but if you want to read it, e-mail me and I’ll invite you.
